Sustainable clothing for men

What is men's sustainable clothing?

Men's sustainable clothing is clothing produced in a socially and environmentally responsible way. For us, it's not either using sustainable materials, ethically manufacture or reducing waste. Sustainable clothing is the combination of it all.

Why is it important to shop men's sustainable clothing?

Choosing men's sustainable clothing over conventional clothing is important because this way you can contribute to reducing the social and carbon footprint of your wardrobe.

How can I tell if a piece of clothing is sustainable?

Third party certifications such as Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS), Organic Content Standard (OCS), Global Recycled Standard (GRS) and Fairtrade certify the presence of sustainable materials like organic cotton or recycled polyester, as well as fair working conditions for the workers involved in the supply chain.

Our men's sustainable clothing has a variety of sustainable certifications, including GOTS, OCS, PETA-Approved Vegan, GRS, etc. Have a look at each piece's details to discover their sustainable credentials.

Is men's sustainable clothing more expensive?

The short answer is yes. Why, though?

  • Higher production costs. Sustainable clothing is produced using eco-friendly materials and ethical manufacturing practices, which can be more expensive than conventional materials and production methods. For example, organic cotton is more expensive to grow and process than conventional cotton.
  • Limited availability of materials. Sustainable materials such as recycled polyester made from plastic bottles may be less available than conventional materials, which can drive up the cost of production.
  • Smaller production runs. Many sustainable clothing brands like us produce smaller runs of clothing, which can increase the cost per item.
  • Supply chain. The sustainable clothing supply chain is often more complex and involves more stakeholders than conventional clothing, which can increase costs.

High-street fast fashion is cheap but also, how long does it last? Is it good quality? Our men's sustainable clothing is meant to last longer. Like many of our customers, we believe you'll find it worth the cost.

Is men's sustainable clothing better?

Investing in our high-quality, sustainable clothing is often worth the cost in the long run because it's meant to last longer, which can lower the cost per wear.

For instance, our premium sustainable jumpers are made with a French Terry knit, a durable fabric known for its strength and resistance to wear and tear.
